Identity verification

Required before your first withdrawal. Never before your first trade.

Passport, national ID or driving licence. Any one of the three.
Exactly as printed on the document, including any letters.
Photo of the whole document, all four corners inside the frame, no glare.

Exactly what we ask for, and why

One government photo document, one selfie holding it, and a proof of address if your bank requires it for the payout. Not your tax records, not your employment history, not your source of wealth unless a payment provider requests it.

How long the review takes

Usually within one business day, and you are told either way with a reason if it was rejected. We publish the observed median rather than promising same-hour review, because a same-hour promise is a promise we would break on busy weeks.

What happens to the documents

They are stored encrypted, used only to satisfy the payout requirement, and are not used for marketing or profiling. You can request deletion after your account is closed, subject to the retention period the law forces us to keep.

Is this required to open an account?

No. It is required before your first withdrawal, and after that it never has to be repeated unless the document expires or your name changes.

Which document is best?

Passport, because it has no address field that might not match and no expiry pattern that differs by region. ID card and licence work, but are rejected more often for exactly those reasons.

Can a photo be rejected?

Yes, if a corner is cut off, if the hologram glares over the text, or if the selfie does not show the same document. You get the specific reason and can resubmit immediately.

Will you share my documents?

Only with the payment provider that needs it for the specific payout, and only the fields it asks for. We do not sell data, we do not run advertising profiles, and we do not share with anyone else.
