Trading rules

The exact mechanics of an order, written so it can be checked against the audit record.

Instruments and terms

One instrument only: spot gold, quoted as XAU/USD. Terms are 60 seconds, 3, 5, 10, 15 minutes and 1 hour. The payout rate is published per term and is fixed before you place the order.

Placing an order

You choose a direction, an amount and a term. The entry price is the ask if you take the up side and the bid if you take the down side, at the second your order is accepted.

How the result is decided

At the settlement second we compare the settlement price with your entry price. Higher wins on an up order, lower wins on a down order. The settlement price is the mid of the same feed, and the exact quote is kept in the audit record.

A tie

If the two prices are identical to the last quoted digit, the order is a tie: your stake is returned in full, with no profit and no loss.

Abnormal quotes

If the feed publishes a price that is plainly wrong, or stops publishing across the settlement second, we void the affected orders and return stakes in full, and we say so in the audit record.

Disputes about a result

Every order carries a reference. Quote that reference and we will show you the raw prices we settled on. If the record does not support our result, we correct it.
