| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Bid | The price at which the feed will sell to you. On an up order, your entry price is the ask, not this one. |
| Ask | The price at which the feed will buy from you. On a down order, your entry price is the bid. |
| Mid | The midpoint between bid and ask. This is the number used to decide whether your order won or lost. |
| Spread | The gap between bid and ask. We do not widen it when the market gets busy. |
| Stake | The amount you put at risk on a single order. |
| Payout | The percentage returned on top of your stake when an order wins. Published per term before you place the order. |
| Term | How long an order runs: sixty seconds up to one hour. |
| Expiry | Same as the term, seen from the moment of placing rather than the moment of ending. |
| Tie | Two prices identical to the last quoted digit. The stake is returned in full, with no profit and no loss. |
| Settlement | The moment a term ends. The price recorded at that second, not the next one, decides the result. |
| Snapshot | One stored quote at one instant, with its source and timestamp. |
| Audit record | The stored raw quotes either side of your settlement, kept so a result can be rebuilt from primary data. |
| Reference | The identifier of a single order. Quote it and we can pull up the record. |
| Voided order | An order cancelled because the feed failed or published an obviously wrong price. The stake is returned in full. |
| Cool-off | A period you ask us to block your own access for. Existing orders still settle and your balance stays yours. |
