Where this number is used
Exactly two places: confirming a withdrawal you requested, and confirming a change to your payout details. It is not a second factor for sign-in, and it is not a marketing list.
Changing or losing the number
A number cannot be swapped silently: changing it requires confirming from the old number, or, if that is impossible, a manual review with identity documents. That delay is the point, because an attacker who can move your number can move your money.
Is a phone number required?
Not to register, not to trade and not to create the account. It becomes required only when you withdraw, because that is the one action where we must be certain the request is yours.
Will I get marketing messages?
No. We do not run SMS campaigns and we do not sell or share the number. The only messages you will receive are the confirmations you triggered yourself.
Do I need SMS to withdraw every time?
Only when the payout details change or the amount is far above your usual pattern. Routine withdrawals to an already-confirmed destination go through without a code.
